The ENsource II consortium meeting took place on 11.11.2019 at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT Stuttgart).
With around 25 participating researchers from all over Baden-Württemberg, this meeting was an important step towards successful cooperation for an accelerated energy transition in Baden-Württemberg. The subject areas of ENsource are 3D energy planning and city management tools, energy management and information technologies and strategies on energy and resource efficiency as well as the resulting new business models.
The aim of the consortium meeting was to find solutions to make the researched results from the first phase ready to transfer to the target groups from business, politics and society. The strategies for the transfer were developed in the form of a World Café.
For this purpose, topics were selected that have become significantly more important for the target groups in the climate protection plan 2050 of the Federal Ministry: Climate protection in the five areas of construction and housing, agriculture, mobility, industry and energy economics. The project participants discussed the perspective of potential stakeholders at each topic table. With the “glasses of the stakeholders”, the added value of their tools, services and the link between them was developed.
In order to be able to implement these goals as quickly as possible, a transfer strategy was outlined for the remaining 1.5 years of the project. As a first important step, a transfer event in the format of the DIALOGFORUM REGION STUTTGART in cooperation with the innovation laboratory M4_LAB of HFT Stuttgart and the Institute of Economic Development Region Stuttgart is planned on July 1st, 2020.
