Project extension - ENsource enters 2nd round

Research network successfully evaluated

In August 2015 the research network "ENsource - Urban Energy Systems and Resource Efficiency" started its work in the field of future energy generation and distribution.

After 3 years of intensive research work in 6 work packages and 5 case studies, Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and external experts successfully evaluated the project and the research network was now able to start a 2-year extension phase. Now the work is to be intensified and implemented in concrete applications.

Half of the funding comes from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the other half from the European Union's Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
